As a tech professional with 10+ years of experience leading product delivery with brands such as Google Chrome Enterprise, Kia, Visa and LGE, I gained a reputation for high caliber work, yet I felt stuck in a cycle of misaligned jobs and burnout. As a creative working in tech, I craved life and work that felt resonant and soulful.

Deep in the pandemic, unhappy and depleted at a corporate job, in 2021 I felt the delicate and inevitable sense of my mortality. Was my life going to be one debilitating, draining job after another until I died?

Motivated to reclaim my life, I planned a one year sabbatical that I took in 2022 — a transformative experience that redefined my life trajectory. Post sabbatical I re-engaged with my creative work in music and writing, and I gave myself permission to reimagine my relationship to work overall.
